HAPPY HEALING MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey guys! Traci here and I've been having so much FUN with the new Happy Healing Collection. As soon as it arrived, I was filled with ideas and created a mini scrapbook, 12x12 layouts, and lots of great cards! Hmm ... now that I'm typing that, I'm realizing I may have had too much coffee that morning. Anyway, today I'm sharing my little Laughter is the Best Medicine Album that's filled with Happy Healing cuteness!

I designed this with one of my custom acrylic mini albums, but you could easily create this with white card stock or chipboard instead. On the cover, I added the 12x12 Happy Healing print and lots of fun embellishments like the Pill Better Shaker-pops. It's filled with colorful beads & enamel pills. So cute!

I also added fun pieces from the Odds & Ends where there are tons of different die cuts to choose. I'm quite sure that whatever ails you ...  there's an embellishment with a happy face on it for your illness, lol!

Take a peek down the side of the album. I added colorful tabs from the Bits & Pieces to the edge of the pages and included some word stickers from the This & That sheet.

Leave it to Doodlebug to make germs look adorable! I added two of those, a tag from the Bits & Pieces, and some Doodle twine in swimming pool to the first page and the colorful Pilling Better paper to the next.

I also included a clear page with the Silver Hearts acetate. I love the shine and transparency it adds.

Check out this pocket I created with a 3x4 card from the 12x12 Cross My Heart paper. It's cute AND useful!

I added the Bits & Pieces clipboard and prescription die cuts inside. They make great journaling spots and fit perfectly in the pocket. The cute pink enamel heart is 1 of 3 you'll see throughout these pages and they're from the Pill Better Shaker-pops.

Did you notice the fine print on the broken bone x-ray? If you look closely, the doctor's name is Dr. Will Fixya and the patient's name is I.M. Hurt. Lol!

This cute journaling spot is a card from the 12x12 Spot of Kindness paper. I used it to create a fun flippie that has space inside for more photos.

I decorated this fold-out page with the pretty Happy Heart paper. I cut a scalloped circle out using a 2" punch and added the adorable cloud sticker from the This & That sheet to act as a tab. The little band-aid on its forehead is so funny!

I hope today's project and the precious Happy Healing collection inspire you to create something fun. I absolutely LOVE it!! If you're interested in seeing my latest scrapbooking kits ... hop over to my shop. Until next time, happy crafting! 😊

HAPPY HEALING GET WELL CARDS | with Karen

Let's be honest here for a moment. No one likes being sick or injured. But it is a part of life and given that it is, I cannot think of a better way to bring a little bit of sunshine to a gloomy day that with some Doodlebug cuteness. And oh boy, does the new Happy Healing collection fit the bill!

  All-three-1

As soon as this collection arrived, I knew it was a great opportunity to add to my card collection - the collection I keep on hand for those unexpected moments! And given that there is an beautiful Cards & Envelopes coordinating pack, this seemed like the perfect place to start.

  Closeup1

I used the 6x6 paper pad to add some patterned paper to each card and then chose a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack for each one. From there, I selected all my cute characters from the Odds and Ends pack and started my layering process. I also chose a few pieces from the Bits and Pieces pack to add a layer of tags and such. A few mini doilies and mini paper clips added a bit of texture too.

  Closeup-2

Finally I finished off with the amazing Sprinkles in the Silver assortment. I absolutely love the silver - it's adds such a rich sparkle!

  All-three-2

You know, if you are going to be sick, receiving a Doodlebug card might make it just a little bit better. If nothing else, I hope they brought a smile to your face today! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

HAPPY HEALING "OUCH" LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here and I'm thrilled to kick off this week sharing a new layout using the brand new Happy Healing collection. I have tons of photos of my kiddos at their doctors and dentists appointments and have never had a chance to scrap those. This collection is perfect for me to do that and of course it has the prettiest patterns and cutest embellishments. Here's my page:

When I first saw the Get Well Soon Shaker, I knew I wanted to make a shaker element on my page and after going through the ADORABLE Bits & Pieces pack, I found the perfect piece to make it with. I chose a file folder and punched a heart shaped hole through the left side of it to create a window. I used the new Silver Hearts Acetate to make the window and applied foam tape around it. I then poured a bunch of the Shakers in and sealed it with a piece of vellum. The band-aids in this mix are so cute!

From that same pack, I pulled out a prescription card (that has an Rx embossed on it!) and a clipboard journaling piece. I matted my photo using the 6x6 Paper Pad, tucked the card behind it and then layered all three large elements together in the center of my 9x9 paper.

Here's another view showing the journaling card. I made sure to pop all of the pieces up on foam tape so that all of the elements were level. I then started pulling larger embellishments from the Odds & Ends pack to tuck and layer on my page.

For my title, this 'Ouch' piece from the Chit Chat pack went well with the photo of my son in his hospital room. He took a scary spill the night prior and was being held for observation. Thankfully all of his tests came back okay and we were released later that day. I embellished on both sides of my title using more Bits & Pieces and sprinkled in those cute Puffy Icons! I'm obsessed with the little pills!

Next, I went in with the smaller embellishments and added a few of the Get Well Soon Shape Sprinkles. That mask and little clipboard are adorable!

Here's one last look at this layout. I think all memories need to be documented. All of the special ones and all of the hard ones too.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I love making shaker elements on my projects and the new Shakers are so cute!
